The Lake Effect is a one of a kind gemstone necklace inspired by the colors and textures of Lake Tahoe. This handmade piece was named by our Instagram community, with each stone chosen to capture a specific piece of the lake.

Dendritic opal echoes the small pebbled sand along the shoreline. Moonstone catches the light the way the water does on a clear day, gleaming and shifting with every angle. Amazonite carries that impossible blue-green you only find at Tahoe, a color that photographs never quite get right. Dalmatian jasper stands in for the granite boulders scattered around the lake, grounding the piece in stone and texture. Imperial jasper and mookaite round out the palette with warm, earthy depth.
